Submersible pumps are a widely used water treatment tool. The application of submersible pumps has become a common tool that is inseparable from daily life and work in the city. But we rarely see it. Some urban people don't even know what a submersible pump is and what it is used for. Today we will learn about submersible pumps.
A submersible pump, as the name suggests, is a water pump that places the pump in water or other liquid media. Unlike ordinary pumps, submersible pumps work underwater, while most pumps work on the ground.
How the submersible pump works: Before the submersible pump is opened, the suction pipe and pump must be filled with liquid. After the pump is turned on, the impeller rotates at high speed, and the liquid in the submersible pump rotates with the blades. Under the action of centrifugal force, it flies out of the impeller. The liquid speed in the diffusion chamber of the pump casing gradually slows down, the pressure gradually increases, and then flows out from the pump outlet. At this time, in the center of the blade, a vacuum low-pressure zone with neither air nor liquid is formed because the liquid is thrown around. Under the action of the atmospheric pressure on the pool surface, the liquid flows into the submersible pump through the suction pipe. The liquid is continuously sucked from the pool and flows out from the discharge pipe.
Basic parameters of submersible pumps: including flow, head, pump speed, supporting power, rated current, efficiency, pipe diameter, etc.
When purchasing a submersible pump, you should pay attention to the basic parameters such as pressure, temperature, medium particle size, etc.
The main uses and application scope of submersible pumps include construction drainage, agricultural water drainage and irrigation, industrial water circulation, drinking water supply for urban and rural residents, rescue and disaster relief, etc.
