The expansion tank is manufactured to comply with the requirements of the PED 97/23/EC Directive "Closed expansion tanks with built-in air bladder for installation in the environment".

Made of Noryl plastic or stainless steel. The pre-pressurized air chamber is equipped with a synthetic rubber composite air bag.

The inner surface of the container in contact with water is corrosion-resistant, thereby maintaining water quality.

The outer surface is black or natural stainless steel. Suitable for temperatures up to 90°C, resistant to vinyl.

Propylene glycol blend with low breathability.

Mini expansion tanks are tested according to the Pressure System Directive.

The function of small pressure tank
The small pressure tank on the water pump is a pressure regulating accessory, usually installed at the water outlet of the water pump. Its main function is to stabilize the working pressure of the water pump through the internal expansion water bag, so that the water pump can operate within a certain working pressure range and extend the service life of the water pump. When the water pump starts, the water pump will send water to the small pressure tank. At this time, the internal water bag of the small pressure tank will expand to form a certain pressure, thereby stabilizing the working pressure of the water pump. When the water pump stops working, the water in the small pressure tank will automatically flow back to the water tank, waiting to be compressed again when the water pump starts next time.

Precautions for small pressure tanks
1. Installation location: The small pressure tank should be installed at the water outlet of the water pump to avoid being connected to the water inlet pipe of the water pump. This prevents air from entering the inside of the small pressure tank and affecting its normal operation.
2. Pressure setting: The pressure setting of the small pressure tank should be adjusted according to the specific situation. If the pressure is set too high, the load on the water pump will be increased and the service life will be shortened; if the pressure is set too low, the water pump will start and stop frequently, which will also shorten the service life.
3. Cleaning and maintenance: The water bag inside the small pressure tank needs to be cleaned and replaced regularly to prevent the growth of impurities and microorganisms. At the same time, the sealing performance of the small pressure tank should be checked regularly to maintain its normal working condition.
